Art & Essay Contest

Celebrating youth creativity and community expression.

The Linda Vista Multi-Cultural Fair & Parade Art & Essay Contest encourages students to express creativity and share their voices through art, writing, and poetry. 

This Year's Theme

Participants will be judged in two categories: Art and Poetry/Essay, with submissions grouped by grade levels. Winners will be announced during the fair and will receive prizes! Winning entries will also be proudly displayed at the event.

Who Can Participate

  • Open to students in grades K–12

  • Entries grouped by grade level

  • Individual submissions only

Submission Categories

Students may submit one of the following:

  • An Art Piece

  • An Essay

  • A Poem

A Special Parade Invitation

Every student who enters the contest is invited to walk in the parade alongside other young creatives. This is a special opportunity to celebrate student contributions and community pride.
